Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese practice that inserts filiform needles into very specific points. The metal of the needle helps to conduct your body’s energy along channels called meridians. Treatment along meridians can help balance the entire body. Acupuncture is great for people with BOTH structural and physiological complaints.

Dry needling is a therapeutic modality that inserts filiform needles into muscle knots known as trigger points. The needle is often moved within the tissue to promote nutrient rich blood flow and tissue remodeling. Dry needling is great for people with localized musculoskeletal complaints, soft tissue dysfunction, scars and tissue adhesions.

Either treatment can be done with or without electrical stimulation. This will be determined during your appointment by the doctor according to your needs and comfort.

Welcome back to Pivotal Healing Center! To keep your options simple, choose between a 15 or 30 minute follow up appointment with Dr. Julie Emmert. PLEASE NOTE - at least 30 minutes are REQUIRED if one or more reasons below relates to why you are scheduling:

You have a new complaint / injury you are not currently being treated for.
You would like a new supplement protocol tested.
You plan to receive Neuro-Emotional Technique during your appointment.
You have not been treated at Pivotal Healing Center in over 6 months.

Price may vary (+/- $25) depending on the complexity of your case and techniques utilized during treatment.
